Rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel kicked off their nationwide tour, "20th L'Anniversary TOUR", at the Saitama Super Arena on September 10th and 11th.

It's been about three years since the band last held a nationwide tour, and so within the two days, the arena heard jubilant screams from 40,000 fans.

On the first day, vocalist hyde called out to the fans, saying, "L'Arc~en~Ciel turned 20. We have completely become adults, so we have many things to teach everyone. Do you want to know?" Then, the band performed a pleasing set list, ranging from nostalgic hit songs to their latest single, "GOOD LUCK MY WAY". Additionally, they presented their upcoming single, "XXX", for the very first time, overwhelming the crowd with its sensual lyrics and profound sound.

On the second day, the band performed a different set list which still consisted of both old and new songs. During the final MC segments, hyde expressed, "We will be going across Japan from here, so we are very excited. Somehow, we were able to welcome our 20th year, although we never thought we would. When I think of it that way, it's very moving. I'm happy to find enjoyment in singing. Please, come and watch us again."

L'Arc~en~Ciel will now travel to Fukuoka, Sapporo, Nagoya, and Osaka to continue their "20th L'Anniversary Tour".
