Actress Ootake Shinobu and talento IMALU are set to appear together as mother and daughter in Yamasashouyu Koujou's latest CM for white dashi!

Although the two have appeared in the same documentary program in the past, this marks the first time that IMALU and Ootake will be acting alongside each other. In the commercial, the two eat the nikujaga dish that Oobake has prepared. When IMALU asks her on-screen mother whether her nikujaga is different from what she normally makes, Ootake warmly responds, "It's this thing called happiness!", emphasizing the care put into delicious home cooking.

When asked about their latest endorsement, Ootake replied, "I was embarrassed. I felt somewhat awkward." IMALU also echoed the same sentiment, confessing, "It felt a little weird."

Despite their nervousness about the commercial, Ootake and IMALU showed no signs of awkwardness about their roles and smiled throughout the entire shoot. IMALU in particular gave a very natural performance without any sense of nervousness, and was in fact so "natural" that the scene was shot multiple times to capture that "family" feeling.

The commercial for Yamasashouyu Koujou's "Konbu Broth White Dashi" will begin airing on September 1st.
