It's been revealed that singer-songwriter Saito Kazuyoshi will be singing the theme song for the upcoming drama, "Kaseifu no Mita", starring actress Matsushima Nanako.
Saito made his debut in 1993 with the single, "Boku ga Mita Beatles wa TV no Naka". For the first time in his career, in 2009, heprovided the love ballad, "Ai no Akari", for the drama, "Limit -Jiken no Genba 2-". This time, Saito's song is said to be a pop number with his impressive guitar sounds. He expressed, "The drama has many serious parts, so I hope that my song will become a relief factor."
"Kaseifu no Mita" is a home drama that portrays the story of 'Mita Akari', a quiet and emotionless housekeeper who solves problems at her workplace in unusual ways. Regarding Mita, Saito commented, "Putting Mita's personality aside, if someone like Matsushima-san were to come to my house everyday... I would be nervous."
Additionally, the cast members of the drama were given a courtesy call to the set for the music video of the song. Saito was taken aback when Matsushima, Hasegawa Hiroki, Aibu Saki, and Kutsuna Shiori made a surprise visit, but took a peaceful photo together at the end of the shoot.
