Popular child actor Suzuki Fuku is the star of the newest CM by Myojo Foods, where he transforms into an adorable seven-year-old "ojisan".

During the CM, Suzuki Fuku will dress as the character on the product's packaging, "Uncle Charumela". Charmed by the old man, Suzuki says "I wanna be like him too!" and suddenly transforms into the same attire. After donning Uncle Charumela's distinctive hat and muffler, Suzuki attempts to play his shawm (charumela) - an instrument formerly played by Japanese noodle vendors - but isn't able to make a sound, earning him a cute admonishment from his new friend.

In order to transform Suzuki Fuku into Uncle Charumela, a set of felt eyebrows and cheeks were cut out for him on set. Initially, the staff considered painting his cheeks red and putting his eyebrows on separately, but the changes were made for a cuter look that even kids could imitate.

The new CM begins broadcasting on September 3rd.
