On September 4th, singer Wada Akiko (61)�s new song �Nokosareta Jikan (Remaining Time)� was announced to be the theme song for BS Asahi�s drama �Ousama no Ie�. The drama is scheduled to start airing on October 12th, Wednesday at 10 p.m. and stars actor Ichimura Masachika (62).

The last time Wada sang an original song for a drama theme song was back in 1996 for TBS�s �Oi! Mukodomo� with �Mother� and this will be her first time in 15 years to sing a theme song for a drama.

This single was written by Akimoto Yasushi and composed by Haba Hitoshi who happen to be the very same people who help made Fujitani Miwako�s and Oouchi Yoshiaki�s single �Ai ga Umareta Hi� sell 1,320,000 copies back in 1994. The motif of �Nokosareta Jikan� is said to be, �Time is a treasure given to all people. How will one use it? What can you do with the remaining time?� It is a medium ballad song that is very Wada-like with its soulful elements.

This song is set for release in mid-October.
