It's been revealed that Amuro Namie's new song (currently untitled) has been chosen as the theme song for the upcoming drama, 'Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu'.

The drama revolves around three girls with difficulties with in dating and finding love. Karina will play the main character 'Fujii Emi', an employee of a lighting company. Her roommates will be played by Yoshitaka Yuriko and AKB48's Oshima Yuko.

The last time Amuro provided a theme song for a 'Getsu9' drama was in January 1997 when"CAN YOU CELEBRATE?" was used in'Virgin Road'.

Producer,Nakano Toshitaka, explained his reason for choosing Amuro to sing for the drama with, "When I was planning the main character for 'Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu', I thought that Amuro Namie-san was the only one who could sing the theme song. She is charismatic to young women and has an impact on their lifestyle, so I wanted her to give them courage. She has written the song after reading the script, so I am expecting it to be a support song for women that involves sadness and power."

Meanwhile, Amuro expressed, "This time, I am very honored to receive this offer to provide the theme song. The song overlaps scenes from the drama, so I hope viewers could relate to it even more. I am also looking forward to watching the drama."

Karina, who says she is an Amuro fan, who often goes to her lives, commented, "When I first heard that Amuro Namie-san would be singing the theme song, I was happy and surprised. I also thought that she would give this drama even more power. I'm very honored to have Amuro Namie-san, someone who I've respected since long ago, to be in charge of the theme song. Using this happiness as strength, I want to do my best with my co-stars until the end."

'Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu' will start airing on October 17th at 9:00 pm. Additionally, the song will be released in Chaku-Uta form on November 2nd.
