It's been announced that Isayama Hajime's manga, "Shingeki no Kyojin", will released as a movie adaptation in the Fall of 2013.

"Shingeki no Kyojin" started its serialization in "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine" in September 2009. The story is set in a world of giants, where humans desperately fight for survival.

Since "Shingeki no Kyojin" was Isayama's debut work, only 40,000 first press copies of the first volume was printed. However, when the manga was introduced through blogs, it created a stir among manga-fans. Since then, Isayama's manga has been picked up on magazine and tv, making him a popular manga artist just after a year and a half after his debut. His mangas now have a million in circulation for each volume.
