It's been revealed that talento Yasu Megumi (29) will get married to comedian duo Take2's Azuma Takahiro (41).

According to officials, the two met 12 years ago when Yasu auditioned for an assistant position in Take2's tv program, "TOPCAT". Although the staff declined Yasu saying she was unsuitable for leisure talk, Azuma was the only one who made the recommendation.

In 2007, the two re-united on Azuma's radio show, where Yasu appeared as a special guest. They reminisced about the good old days, and immediately started dating.

In March of last year, Yasu suffered the loss of her mother, and Azuma became her support. Azuma understood her feelings as he had lost his father from cerebral hemorrhage when he was just 18-years old.

Their relationship was first reported back in March right before the Tohoku Earthquake. After experiencing the disaster, they both realized the importance of family once again, and decided to get married. According to officials, Yasu revealed to her friends, "He's the type that will take the lead. After the disaster, I thought that if I were to get married, it had to be him."

Yasu and Azuma has already greeted each other's families, and are making arrangements to get married at the year's end. The ceremony and reception has not been decided yet. Additionally, Yasu is not pregnant at this time, and she plans to continue working after she gets married.
