Just yesterday, we reported that Abe Asami was getting married to her boyfriend, who's older than her by 8 years. On November 11th, she announced her marriage and retirement from show biz through her official blog.

According to the blog entry, "I have decided to retire from entertainment industry and step toward a new life." Asami also revealed that she's receiving cooking lessons from her mom and sister. "I would like to learn things everyday and support him in order to become a great wife, which is the next dream of mine," she wrote.

She continued, "I'm grateful from the bottom of my heart that I was able to make my dream come true, which was to become a singer. I'm also grateful for the many encounters and experiences."

Her older sister, Abe Natsumi, also updated her blog on the same day, expressing her blessings for her little sister's marriage. "Today, my sister Asami registered her marriage. I wish that she'll make a happy and warm family."
