Talento Becky attended a charity event "The 2nd Tohoku earthquake Charity Event ~Kokoro ni Taiyo wo~", held at Sunshine city in Ikebukuro, and helped raised funds.

This event is co-sponsored by Becky's agency Sun Music Group along with Sunshine City, and this was the 2nd time for this event to be held after the previous one held back in May.

Not only was there fund-raising, but a handshake event, selling of charity song and original goods, as well as the participating artists' performances were also held during the event.



Becky who acts as the charity project leader with comedian Cunning Takeyama, said, "I'm glad that this many people gathered here, thinking they wanted to be a help, even after 8 months since the disaster. �Also I'm happy to be able to say thank you directly to everyone with a handshake." �Cunning Takeyama also said, "It's important that everybody keeps holding this kind of activities continuously. �We will also continue doing it without making it temporary, so please help us."



Other than Becky and Cunning Takeyama, other talento who belong to the agency, such as Ono Mayumi, Takigawa Hanako, Matsumoto Rika, Makimura Mieko, Oishi Madoka, and Uesugi Kaori also attended the event. �The funds and the profit from selling the goods will be donated to the disaster areas through local authorities.
