Actor Fujiwara Tatsuya recently visited Singapore for the premiere of his latest movie, "Kaiji 2 Jisei Dakkai Game". Thanks to his popularity in his previous movie, "Death Note", Fujiwara attracted approximately 700 people to the PR event.
The event was held at a shopping mall in the suburbs of Singapore, and Fujiwara was welcomed by the loud cheers of his fans. Smiling, the actor commented, "Singapore is filled with a warm atmosphere -- it's not just the country, but the people as well. I would like to visit here again, not for a job, but in private."
"Kaiji 2" is the sequel to "Kaiji~Jinsei Gyakuten Game", which was originally released in 2009. It is based on a ongoing manga by Fukumoto Nobuyuki, and has been serialized on "Weekly Young Magazine" since in 1996.� It also received an anime adaption as well.
"Kaiji 2" is scheduled to be released in Singapore on the 17th at 6 movie theaters.
