On November 2nd, Nexon Japan announced that popular actress Ishihara Satomi was going to be their new CM character for the upcoming Japanese launch of hack-and-slash MMORPG, "Mabinogi Heroes" (better known as "Vindictus" in the west).

Through her commercials, Nexon Japan aims to reach people who've never played such an online game before by transferring in-game events into the real world. They've used shaky camerawork similar to "REC" and other horror films shot from the viewpoint of the viewer, creating the illusion of being right next to Ishihara.

There are three parts of the commercial, with the 'REC Teaser' (30sec) airing together with the rollout of the open beta on November 3rd. The next two parts, 'REC Development 1.' (15sec) and 'REC Development 2.' (15sec), will air on a later date.

The game's official site is soon going to feature the commercial as well as a making-of with Ishihara.
