Globe vocalist KEIKO, who underwent an emergency operation for a subarachnoid hemorrhage last month, has finally been moved from the ICU to the hospital's general wards. according to a Twitter update by her husband, fellow Globe member and producer/songwriter Komuro Tetsuya.

He thanked all concerned parties with his update on November 10th, stating, "I'm reporting that as of yesterday (the 9th), Keiko has been moved to the general wards.� It's been a slow, slow course, but thanks to everyone, it finally seems we're on the road to recovery."� Following this, he stated, "There will surely be many, many more periods of hard work ahead. I will update you again. Thank you."

According to acquaintances, KEIKO's condition has stabilized, and she has recovered to the point where she can sustain short conversations.� In the near future she will be able to undergo walking training and other physical rehabilitation sessions.

To recap, KEIKO collapsed in her home on October 24th and underwent emergency surgery for a subarachnoid hemorrhage the next day.� Although she was able to smile, she had been unable to speak for some time after the operation. Komuro has been commuting between the hospital and home on a daily basis. On November 5th, he put on a live performance at the school festival for his alma mater, Waseda University, where he called out, "KEIKO and her doctors are all trying their best.
