On October 31st, Takarazuka Revue (an all-female musical troupe based in Hyogo prefecture) announced that Moon Troupe's Musumeyaku top star, Aono Yuki, will leave the company in April.
The announcement came as a shock to Moon Troupe's fans, especially since the Otokoyaku top star, Kiriya Hiromu, also announced her retirement in April. Consequently, the top pair will leave the company at the same time.
Aono made her stage debut in 2004 with "Susanoo", and she was first assigned to Star troupe. Then she wastransferredto the Moon troupe in 2009, and has been the Musumeyaku top since in February 2010.
Aono will be holding a press conference on November 1st (the same day as Kiriya), and her final day as the Musumeyaku top will be on April 22nd, which will see the final stage of Edward VIII -Oukan wo Kaketa Koi-/Misty Station -Kiri no Shuuchakueki-". The play will run from February 3rd ~ March 5th at Takarazuka Grand Theater, and then from March 23rd ~ April 22nd at Tokyo Takarazuka Theater.
