ROCK'A'TRENCH announces their hiatus

Rock band ROCK'A'TRENCH has announced that they will be going on an indefinite hiatus after their tour.

The band recently released their 2nd album, "Bohemia", and are currently on their live tour, "Steady Rock vol.7 ~Bohemianism~". It was during this tour that the members found that they were drifting apart and had developed vast differences. As such, they came to the decision to go on an indefinite hiatus.

ROCK'A'TRENCH left a long message for their fans, which read:
"We have an important announcement.

ROCK'A'TRENCH will be going on an indefinite hiatus as of this tour.

In 2005, Yamamori voyaged out of Hatakeyama, and in 2006, Otake, Toyoda, and Kawahara joined the band.
We've continued to run for 6 years.

When I think about it, ROCK'A'TRENCH is a unique group consisting of different personalities.

We all like different types of music. Even in fashion and hobbies, we all like different things.

With that, the 5 of us had strong feelings to music; we were connected by this strange balance.
I think that was one of our biggest appeals.

We released our 2nd album, "Bohemia", but at this present time, our feelings for the band have become individual.

Members who think about our 3rd album onward.
Members who feel that they've done their all with this album.
Members who think of representing something other than ROCK'A'TRENCH.

Seeing how our feelings for making music [together] has been broken, we came to a conclusion that we can no longer continue our activities as ROCK'A'TRENCH.

From here on, each member will clear a new path with their own music.

And fans. We feel that ROCK'A'TRENCH was a band that has been blessed with the best fans.
No matter what kind of trouble we faced, we were able to overcome it by thinking of you.
Thank you. Thank you very much.
There are no words to express how thankful we are.

To make this announcement during our tour, we deeply apologize to our staff, who has always supported us and given us strength.

We wish that you will accept all of us at our remaining tour in Akasaka, Nagoya, and Osaka."

ROCK'A'TRENCH is scheduled to perform at Akasaka BLITZ on November 25th, at Nagoya BOTTOM LINE on the 27th, and at Nanba Hatch on December 2nd and 3rd. Their Tokyo performance will held in a special setting, and the band will be accompanied by violins, viola, a cello, and other strings from the Inagi PhilharmonicOrchestra.

For their final night of the tour, ROCK'A'TRENCH will hold a special live using a set list constructed by the fans through a survey.
