On November 14th, actor Saito Takumi held a commemorate event for his upcoming movie, "Asu Naku", at Shibuya Tower Records.

When asked what type of movie he likes, Saito answered, "The kind of movies that the general public wouldn't watch. I can feel the aesthetic value." He then described his movie saying, "Personally, it's a work of individuality that I want to treasure."

Directed by Naito Makoto, "Asu Naku" is based on an original novel by Irokawa Takehiro. Set in the 'Showa' period, the film portrays a story of young people who goes about life by taking chances and doing whatever they please.

Saito expressed, "Even though I was born in 1981, it's a story of a time period I don't know. I want people to get a taste of the movie by observing its historical backdrop and the information on jazz that graces the acting." He continued,"The atmosphere back then may not be as physically abundant as it is today, but the film holds something that has been lost."

"Asu Naku" is scheduled to hit theatres on November 19th.
