On November 8th, former Morning Musume member Takahashi Ai attended a press conference for her musical, "Dance of Vampire".

Takahashi shared that she went to see Morning Musume's musical after graduating and said, "I was a member for 10 years so I was able to watch it from an objective sense for the first time. It brought tears to my eyes to think that both the members and the group has matured." She also revealed that the members would come and watch her. Regarding her first solo performance, Takahashi commented, "I'm very happy. I did my best to train, so I hope it will bring a smile upon everyone's faces."

Based on the film by Roman Polanski, the first musical premiered at Raimund Theater in Vienna, Austria in 1998. It was brought to Japan in 2006, and decided to be shown again to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Imperial Garden Theater.

Takahashi has longed to perform at the Imperial Garden Theater since she saw the first musical back in 2006. She expressed, "This time, I want to deliver the enjoyment and sense of unity of the play to people who come and watch it." Then Takahashi showed her gratitude towards the cast saying, "Since graduating, I thought I had to walk alone, but the cast and staff were so kind. I wasn't alone. I'm looking forward to creating another work with everyone."

Chinen Rina, who shares the part of 'Sarah' with Takahashi, commented, "Ai-chan shows the cute parts of Sarah that people haven't seen before. She gives me motivation." In the musical, there is a scene where Sarah is attacked by a vampire (Yamaguchi Yuichiro) while taking a bath. Regarding this, Takahashi stated, "I play a part that is 7 years younger than me, so I have to show my charming and sexy side. I have to take Chinen-san's seductive acting and do some research."

Other attendees included Chinen, Yamaguchi, Yamazaki Ikusaburo, Urai Kenji, Ishikawa Zen, and Yamada Kazuya. After the press conference, Chinen, Takahashi, Urai, and Yamazaki sang a song from the musical, enchanting the 400 people who gathered at the event.

"Dance of Vampire" will start on November 27th at Imperial Garden Theater in Tokyo.
