On November 28th, actress Takashiro Kei (37) announced that she will be resigning from her role as 'Anna' from the musical, "Ousama to Watashi", which is scheduled to tour next July. Takashiro was diagnosed with acute pneumonia in October, and has been working toward recovery. As a result, Shibuki Jun (43) will replace Takashiro's role.

Takashiro explained:

"In October, I was hospitalized due to acute pneumonia and received treatment. I was discharged in late-October, and since then, I have been spending my days quietly.

I was looking forward to starring in 'Ousama to Watashi'; however, I felt that I needed more time to build up my physical strength in order to go around to every region of the country during the severe summer season. I decided to play it safe and cancel my performances.

I'm sorry to have caused everyone to worry. I am looking forward to finding my next job as soon as possible."

Takashiro was a former member of the all-female musical theater troupe�Takarazuka Revue.�After leaving the group in 2007, she has been continuing her activities as an actress.
