On November 11th, actor Yamada Takayuki and director Ishibashi Yoshimasa attended the '1st LA Eiga Fest' in Los Angeles for their movie, "Milocrorze".

'LA Eiga Fest' is supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Los Angeles Consulate General of Japan, and JETRO. It aims to introduce Japanese film and culture to the Hollywood community.

After the movie was screened, Yamada expressed, "If we are able to direct our horizons to the world instead of just Japan, we will be able to make an even better movie. If I have the chance, I would like to go out into the world."

A certain Japanese actor who attended the festival commented, "Recently in America, the role of the Japanese are often played by Korean or Chinese actors. They are also pushing Korean movies to be shown, so I am very happy that a Japanese movie was shown at the Chinese theater today."

"Milocrorze" made its world premiere at the Hong Kong International Film Festival back in March, and has been exhibited at over 20 foreign film festivals. There has also been many distribution offers from overseas.

In the movie, Yamada takes on three characters: a foreigner, an unemployed man, and a preacher of love. Other cast members include Maiko, Ishibashi Anna, Harada Mieko, and Okuda Eiji.

The LA Eiga Fest will also feature other films such as "Aze Michi no Dandy", "Konzen Tokkyu", "Hard Romantic-er", "Oojika Mura Soudou Ki" and "Ichimei".

"Milocrorze" will open in theatres in 2012.
