It's been announced that AKB48 members Ota Aika and Hirajima Natsumi will be starring in the upcoming film, 'X Game 2'.

"X Game 2" is based on a novel by�Yamada Yusuke, and is the sequel to horror suspense movie, 'X Game'. The first film was released back in 2010, and�starred AKB48's Kikuchi Ayaka and Nakagawa Haruka. The storyline for its sequel will focus on characters who had been bullied at a young age. As they grow older, they seek revenge by bullying on a much larger scale.

Ota and Hirajima will play two out of the five woman who receive corporal punishment in a confined classroom. To avoid the punishment, they must face cruel survival challenges that are said to be more intense than the previous film's.

"X Game 2" is scheduled to hit theaters in spring of 2012.
