On December 7th, NMB48 announced at the NMB48 Theater in Osaka that suspended members Shimada Rena and Matsuda Shiori would be allowed to return to the group.

As reported earlier, the two members expressed that they wanted to come back to NMB48, but were hesitant on making a decision as they thought it would upset fans. Consequently, the agency said that they would be allowed to return if fans voted in their favor.

The fan voting took place from November 27th to December 3rd, and out of 9,783 votes cast, the majority were in favor of their return with 8,377 votes for Matsuda and 7,622 for Shimada. Now that their return has been confirmed, the girls will jump straight into their lessons in order to resume their activities from January 1st.

NMB48 will release their third single on February 8th. Details on the track list and senbatsu members will be announced at a later date.
