Rock band Galileo Galilei has announced that they will be releasing their 2nd album, "PORTAL", on January 25th!

"PORTAL" features a total of 14 songs, including their latest singles "Aoi Shiori", "Sayonara Frontier", and "Asu e". All three of these songs received a tie-in with an anime or drama: "Aoi Shiori" was used as the opening theme for the anime, "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai"; "Sayonara Frontier" served as the theme song for the drama, "Arakara Under the Bridge"; and finally, "Asu e" is currently the opening theme for the new Gundam series, "Mobile Suit Gundam AGE".

Additionally, the album's first track, titled "Imaginary Friends", will be used as the theme song for "Young Jump" special issue "Aoharu", which will be released in February. The song's chorus features Sayonara Ponytail member Miina.

Galileo Galilei has also announced that Noguchi Kazumasa (Key), who has participated in the recording of the album, will be joining the band as its official member.
