globe's KEIKO gets discharged from hospital, starts rehabilitation
Music producer Komuro Tetsuya held a press conference on December 9th to announce that his wife KEIKO was discharged from hospital on the 8th.
Komuro began by reassuring the audience that KEIKO was doing fine. "Since it was detected early, KEIKO didn't suffer any aftereffects from the subarachnoid hemorrhage, such as being unable to move her body or have speech difficulties." He also added that KEIKO has started her rehab therapy, and is able to have conversations and write letters.
Thinking back to the time when KEIKO was rushed to the hospital and had a operation, Komuro said, "When I heard it was a subarachnoid hemorrhage, I felt like crying. I was shocked." However, he was soon encouraged by KEIKO's recovery and positive spirit. "When she was in the ICU, she was singing songs. As a singer, she cares about whether she can sing or not. She sang globe's "FACE" at first. She remember lyrics as well."
For now, he will stay close to her and monitor her health. "Naturally, I put things to do for KEIKO as a first priority," he smiled.
Concluding, Komuro left a message for KEIKO's fans. "I am so sorry about the situation and for being off work. She likes songs and wants to sing, so please wait for her. I want everyone to listen to her new song."
