It's been revealed that rock band Karasu's new song (currently untitled) has been chosen as the theme song for Goriki Ayame's upcoming drama, "Teen Court ~10-dai no Saiban~".
The drama's story revolves around a high school student named Nyakouji Misato, who seeks the truth of crimes that are committed by juveniles. It's based on a justice system called "teenage court", where teens become prosecutors, lawyers, and jurors to judge juveniles who have committed adelinquentact. While there's no actual system like this in Japan, it's authorized by law in 41 states in America.
This will be Karasu's third time to provide a theme song for a drama. Previous songs include "Yume" for "Uramiya Honpo REBOOT" in 2009 and "Sudachi" for "Yamikin Ushijima-kun" in 2010.
Karasu is a 3-man band from Akita comprised of Konno Junichi (Vo, G), Enomoto Masahiro (D), and Ichinoseki Taku (B). They made their major debut with the single, "Yume", in August 2009.
