Popular boy band KAT-TUN has just landed their 17th consecutive single atop the Oricon with "BIRTH".
The single which was just released on November 30th has hit #1 on the Oricon Singles Weekly Ranking and sold 194,000 in it's first week. "BIRTH" is the theme song to Kamenashi Kazuya's drama "Youkai Ningen Bem".
Since the group debuted back in 2006, every single since "Real Face" to now ("BIRTH") has reached number 1 on the Oricon.
KAT-TUN will start their 2012 tour, "KAT-TUN LIVE TOUR 2012 CHAIN" at Toki Messe in Niigata on February 2nd. This will be their first tour in two years, they also have plans to release a new album at the end of February.
