On December 25th, 19-year-old idol Kikkawa Yuu packed the Tressa Yokohama Center Garden with fans, couples, and families passing through the area for Christmas.

Kikkawa, who will be releasing her third single "Konna Watashi de Yokattara" on December 28th, appeared on stage in an adorable Santa costume as 'Kikka Santa'. Fans were absolutely charmed by her cute outfit, calling out "You're so cute!" to the idol on stage.

During a previous event just a few days ago, Kikkawa had told the crowd to wear a reindeer costume if they came to see her during her Christmas event as a half-joke, but a few of Kikkawa's dedicated fans actually turned up at the event space dressed in reindeer costumes just like she had asked.

Many people gathered to hear Kikkawa Yuu perform her new song "Konna Watashi de Yokattara" despite the cold weather, which turned her reindeer fans' noses red just like Rudolph. Since her latest tune is a love song, couples in the crowd who were about the same age as the idol could be seen smiling as they listened to Kikkawa performing.



Despite being dressed as 'Kikka Santa', Kikkawa continued with her usual talk routine throughout the event. At one point, she turned to the children in the crowd and cutely asked them, "What Christmas presents did you receive???" The idol even went the extra mile with her Santa costume and gave out presents during the event as a prize for winning a small rock-paper-scissors tournament. "The one person who wins in a game of rock-paper-scissors will get a special present!" she announced, sending her many fans into a frenzy to win the tournament.

When the lucky fan who ended up winning the tournament opened up the special gift they received from 'Kikka Santa', inside was a gag gift: a turtle tawashi (scrubbing brush). "It's a parody of my new song 'Konna Watashi de Yokattara', 'Konna Tawashi de Yokattara' ! Please use this for spring cleaning!" she said, throwing the venue into an explosion of laughter.

After this event, Kikkawa has quite a few events planned for the next week, including appearances at the Sanya Gakki in Ginzahon (27th), the Tower Records store in Shinjuku (28th), Hararapo and Kashiwanoha (29th), and the TAMAPLAZA TERRACE (30th). Additionally, the idol will appearing in the last 2011 episode of "Listen?", which airs on Thursday, December 29th, as well as other guest appearances, events, and radio appearances all the way until the end of the year
