Shirota Yu who made his singer debut as "U" back in May, held his first one-man live at Akasaka BLITZ on December 25th and 26th. �On the 26th concert when was Shirota's 26th birthday, actor Urai Kenji took part in the concert on the spur of the moment. �Urai celebrated Shirota's birthday as well as "U"s�departure as an artist with 600 audience.
Shirota performed total 15 songs, the tracks from his debut single "U", Yamashita Tatsuro's "Christmas Eve", as well as his new song "Worth Fighting For feat.HOWIE D" (to be released on February 22nd) which is a collaboration single with Backstreet Boys member, Howie D. �During the concert, a birthday cake was given to Shirota as a surprise, he happily said, "I have never been celebrated my birthday with this many people before. �I'm surprised since I did not expect this at all! Thank you!" �Then Shirota took a photo with the audience from the stage.
After the live, Shirota said, "I was nervous because this was my first one-man live, but I was able to accomplish it thanks to the fans. �Next year, I would like to be an artist who is able to hold live concerts at Nippon Budokan."
Shirota will hold a live tour in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka staring in March next year.
