AKB48s Shinoda Mariko (25) is tackling a voice acting role for a movie!
The idol is dubbing over an American science-fiction thriller called In Time, and she'll be providing the Japanese voice for heroine 'Sylvia' (played by Amanda Seyfried).

Commenting on her voice acting gig, Shinoda expressed, It was difficult to voice act in Japanese while being mindful of the mouth movements from the English original. Since I was extremely nervous, I kept recording over and over again. I hope everyone will enjoy this movie.
She continued, Although I am envious of a society with their citizens stopping growing at the same age as I, if it really happened I think it would be quite scary"
Shinoda concluded by expressing her personal value of time, as she said, "I dont want to waste a moment of the 24 hours at a given day, so I wake up early and start my day. a
Prior to this announcement, the Japanese official site of this film featured Shinodas face in pixels when they posted a special movie poster at the end of the 2011. This mysterious campaign became a big topic of interest for many movie buffs nationwide.
