On January 12th, actors Okada Masaki, Kato Ai, and Omasa Aya threw a small birthday celebration for their co-star, Nakatani Miki, who turned 36 years old.

The party was held during the shoot for their new TV Asahi drama, "Seinaru Kaibutsu-tachi". Only Nakatani and Kato were scheduled to shoo that day, but Okada and Omasa dropped by the set early in the morning to wish Nakatani a happy birthday.

Nakatani was stunned at seeing her co-stars on an unscheduled day, and smiled when Okada gave her a bouquet of orange roses. Replying to his "Happy Birthday" with a smile, Nakatani gushed, "You came just for this? Thank you! �I am really happy, and it will be a great year for me."

Okada expressed, "We were able to surprise Nakatani-san today. Though I was nervous, I'm glad it was successful."

As tokyohive reported previously, "Seinaru Kaibutsu-tachi" is a medical suspense drama rife with scandalous situations. The story is based on Kawahara Len's novel, which follows a� young doctor named "Shiba Kengo" (played by Okada) who, upon meeting various women, gets entangled into a� world of jealousy and desire. �Other cast members are Hasegawa Hiroki, Suzuki Anne, Katsumura Masanobu, Kohinata Fumiyo, and Watanabe Ikkei.

"Seinaru Kaibutsu-tachi" is scheduled to begin its broadcast on January 19th (every Thursday at 9:00 pm).
