On January 26th, Asahi Kasei announced that fashion model Ikeda Saemi (21) will serve as their 2012 campaign model.� She will participate in PR for the company�s swimwear textiles launch and other various products within the group.
Ikeda was born in the city of Kagoshima and is an active model for women�s fashion magazines such as �JJ.�
Asahi Kasei aims to become a strong competitor in the Chinese textiles market, so they also plan on using Chinese models; these models will be introduced in March at their swimwear textiles launch.
