On January 4th, AKB48's sub-unit No Sleeves held a handshake event for their latest single, "Pedicure day", at the Zepp Tokyo.

During the live corner, the girls performed three songs: "Pedicure day", "Answer" and "Kuchibiru Furezu...". Since this event marked their first day of work as No Sleeves this year, the members shared their goals for 2012 through Kakizome (the first calligraphy of the year).

For the Kakizome, Takahashi Minami wrote "Sessa Takuma" (a Japanese idiom meaning "Improve together through friendly rivalry"), while Minegishi Minami drew an�illustration of three girls holding each others' hands.

Finally, Kojima Haruna drew three girls riding on a dragon and explained, "Since I'm a woman of the year (= born in a year with the same Chinese zodiac sign as the current year), I will try my best to lead No Sleeves like a dragon!"

No Sleeves stated that their goal for 2012 is to top the Oricon charts.
