It was announced that Tortoise Matsumoto will be releasing a new single titled "Blanco" on March 7th.

The title track of this single was written as the theme song for the upcoming TBS drama "Stepfather Step" which will start airing on January 9th. �This is a home comedy & mystery drama based on Miyabe Miyuki's best seller novel, and Kamikawa Takaya and Konishi Manami will star in. �As the follow up song for the single, "Ue wo Muite Arukou" which was used as the ending theme song for movie "Gokudo Meshi" (released in September 2011).

There will be a limited edition and regular edition for the single, and the limited edition will come with a DVD that consists with some�video footage from his one-man live "Utau! Tortoise Matsumoto Retsuden" (held in Hyogo in August).

Moreover, Tortoise Matsumoto will also release a cover album "TWISTIN' THE NIGHT AWAY" on�February�8th. This is the album that he covers all tracks from Sam Cooke's masterpiece "Twistin' The Night Away."
