On January 29th, talento Wakatsuki Chinatsu held a release event for her new blog book, "Usotsuki Chinatsu".

This marked Wakatsuki's first public appearance after announcing her marriage and pregnancy. She started by briefly describing her husband saying, "He's a quiet and shy person. His outer appearance resembles Nakata Hidetoshi." Wakatsuki then showed off her engagement ring, and said, "It hasn't hit me yet that I'm going to become a mother, but I find myself watching children's shows."

The couple met nearly three years ago, and tied the knot a year and 3 months into the relationship. Wakatsuki explained, "He's a quiet person, so I thought my relationship would go well with someone like him. From there, it led to marriage." She also talked about her engagement day, "On my birthday last year, he took me out for a drive to the beach and told me, 'I want you to marry me'. He says things when he has to, so he's very reliable as a husband."

Although the couple just started their newlywed life, Wakatsuki revealed, "We rarely talk." However, she added,�"I can't read books with a lot of kanji, so I have him read it to me aloud."

Regarding the sudden marriage and pregnancy announcement, Wakatsuki expressed, "Once it was out in public, I wanted to keep things in order. From here on, I want people to see how I will manage it with work."
