Akimoto Sayaka & Kokusho Sayuri reveals more details on their drama
On February 18th, AKB48’s Akimoto Sayaka and actress Kokusho Sayuri held an interview at NHK Broadcast Center to discuss about their starring drama, “Asadora Satsujin Jiken” (March 28th at 12:15 – 12:44 A.M., 29th at 1:05 to 1:34 A.M. on NHK).
As Kokusho is a former Onyanko Club member, Akimoto admitted, “I have always admired her,” and revealed her admiration to her senpai. In regard of Akimoto, Kokusho revealed, “She reminds me of my former self with her stubbornness. I think she should depend on others more. I almost feel like her parent,” and unveiled her concerns towards Akimoto.
As the name suggests, this story will revolve around the asadora (morning drama) setting with Akimoto taking on the role of Niimi Miho, an assistant producer and Kokusho Sayuri as the chief producer. This drama will mark the first starring drama for Akimoto and she commented, “I will make sure that every morning, I will put all of my heart into my greetings with energy.” Kokusho, who has seen Akimoto in the filming studio, stated, “Sometimes, it seems like her back is really stiff – almost as if a hanger is on her back. I will make my effort to talk to her more,” and showed her consideration to her kouhai. She continued, “A first starring drama is an one time moment in life. I am honored to be her co-star.”
Akimoto is currently making her progress towards a full solo activity and also as AKB48’s Team K captain. She will also be joining ‘Tokyo Marathon 2012’ (to be held on the 26th) and will run 26 mile marathon. After hearing this news, Kokusho exclaimed, “Are you serious?” and was dumbfounded by this fact. However, she added, “I guess an idol’s destiny is to be busy,” and gave an encouraging insight to Akimoto.
