First teaser of "Brave Hearts: Umizaru" lands in the sea
The first teaser for the upcoming Summer blockbuster "Brave Hearts: Umizaru" was released on its official website after it already aired once on Fuji TV in January.
It's the fourth movie in the "Umizaru" series about 'Senzaki Daisuke', a rescue diver of the Japanese Coast Guard and his comrades. This time they are going to adapt the greatest maritime accident from the original manga - a jumbo-jet forced to do an emergency landing in the sea.
With the previous two movies grossing 7.1 billion Yen (88.8 million USD) and 8 billion Yen (100 million USD) respectively, "Brave Hearts: Umizaru" is expected to break through the threshold of 10 billion Yen (125 million USD) due to its release during the summer holidays.
The cast is once again made up of Ito Hideaki, Kato Ai, Sato Ryuta, Miura Shohei, and Tokito Saburo, who will reprise their characters from the previous movies. New characters are played by Naka Riisa, Hirayama Hiroyuki, and Ihara Tsuyoshi. Naka plays a cabin attendant and the girlfriend of Yoshioka Tetsuya (Sato), Hirayama plays the plane's pilot, and Ihara will be the new squad leader.
The filming already ended in December of 2011, giving the team a lot of time to polish everything until its release in July. Pictures from when each of the actors finished their last scene can be found below the teaser.
