It's been revealed that AKB48 will be releasing their second documentary movie, "DOCUMENTARY of�AKB48 Show must go on Shoujo-tachi wa Kizutsuki Nagara, Yume wo Miru", in DVD form on April 20th!
The film opened in theaters nationwide on January 27th, and attracted 200,000 viewers in just 20 days.
The DVD will come in 2 different versions: a 2-disc special edition and a 4-disc concept box-set. AKB48 SHOP in Akihabara and the group's official website are currently accepting pre-orders for the box-set.
Disc 2 for both editions will contain the director's cut of the program, "DOCUMENTARY of AKB48?1", which aired on NHK earlier this year. It will also include the PV for the movie's theme song, "First Rabbit".
As for Disc 3 and 4 in the box-set, they will contain exclusive long interviews with the members, along with footage of stage greetings and premiere events from the movie.
Additionally, the DVD will be available for rent starting May 11th. However, the rental version will only include the movie itself.
