It has been announced that Eita and Matsuda Ryuhei's movie "Mahoro ekimae Tada benriken" will have an after story through the form a TV Tokyo drama series titled, "Mahoro ekimae bangaichi".

"Mohoro ekimae Tada benriken" is based on the novel by Miura Shion. In the story, Tada (Eita) runs a general handy store in the fictitious "Mahoro city" in Tokyo. The story begins when Tada bumps into old classmate and freeloader Gyoten (Matsuda).

Director One Hitoshi who is best known for the movie "Moteki" will direct this drama. Director Hitoshi stated, "I want to bring out a new side of Eita and Ryuhei in the drama."

Eita is quite excited to be starring in this drama and commented "Tada's favorite line is 'I will undertake all the work as much as I can', and I feel similar sentiments for this drama. I would like to make the new "Mahoro" as a successful drama version." Meanwhile Matsuda stated, "I feel honored I can play the role again in a drama series. "

They will start filming for the drama in April. The drama is scheduled to air some time in 2013.
