Model Tanaka Miho graduates from 'non-no'
On March 31st, model Tanaka Miho graduated from being a 'non-no' model at their event, 'Spring Collection 2012'.
Tanaka has been the face of non-no for 12 years, ever since she was 17-years-old. She reflected on her career saying, "Back then, I joined as the youngest model, and now, I'm the eldest. I'm glad I got to become friends with many models. Thank you for supporting me these past 12 years."
As she took her final stage, Tanaka commented, "12 years was long, but at the same time, it went by fast. I'm surprised at how old I've gotten." She continued, "Even if I graduate, I will do my best in order to meet everyone elsewhere."
Former 'non-no' model and Tanaka's friend Miyu made a surprise appearance and gifted the graduate with a flower bouquet. "I love Miho-chan, who doesn't change. Congratulations on graduating!", she exclaimed.
Honda Tsubasa also sent a congratulatory message saying, "I've been reading 'non-no' since I was 15-years-old. I really admired you because of how much you glistened. I will always admire you."
Before walking off the runway, Tanaka expressed, "Even if I graduate, there are many wonderful models. I think the magazine will become something wonderful, so please continue to support them."
'Spring Collection 2012' was held as a charity event for the Tohoku Earthquake. Aside from 'non-no' models, it featured appearances by Sasaki Nozomi, Kiritani Mirei, Omasa Aya, Yamamoto Yusuke, and Miura Shohei. There were also special live performances by pop unit D☆DATE and Korean girl group RAINBOW.
