Rock band Sakanaction will be providing their new song, "Boku to Hana", as the theme song for Fuji TV's upcoming drama series, '37-sai de Isha ni Natta Boku ~Kenshui Junjou Monogatari~'.
Starring SMAP's Kusanagi Tsuyoshi, the drama tells the story of a 37-year-old man who works as a medical intern at a university hospital after quitting his job at a food company.
This will be Sakanaction's first time to provide a theme song for a drama. "Boku to Hana" will be released as the band's 6th single on May 30th.
Additionally, on March 30th, Sakanaction will hold a release party via UStream to commemorate the release of their new live DVD & Blu-ray, 'SAKANAQUARIUM 2011 DocumentaLy -LIVE at MAKUHARI MESSE-'. The members are expected to share behind-the-scene episodes from their concert, along with stories relating to their new song.
