Although the MTV VMAJ's are coming up, music channel SPACE SHOWER had it's own music video award show, 'SPACE SHOWER MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS'.

Taking home the "BEST VIDEO OF THE YEAR AWARD" for the second year in a row is Sakanaction with "Bach no Senritsu wo Yoru ni Kiitaseidesu.". Tokyo Jihen took home the award for "BEST ARTIST".

In the voting category, Maximum the Hormone won the "BEST YOUR CHOICE" award with "maximum the hormone". Shimizu Yasuhiko won "BEST DIRECTOR". Taking home special awards were artists Kyary Pamyu Pamyu with "PON PON PON" and androp with "Bright Siren".
