YUKI's new song, "Sakamichi no Melody", has been chosen as the opening theme for Fuji TV's upcoming anime, "Sakamichi no Apollo"!

"Sakamichi no Melody" is composed and arranged by Kanno Yoko, and written by YUKI herself.�It will be released as a double A-side single, "Play Ball / Sakamichi no Melody", on May 2nd.

On March 12th, Tower Records started their jazz campaign for women called "Mainichi, Joshi Jazz". For this campaign, the female staff of Tower Records launched 'Tower Records Women's Jazz Club' with the anime's heroine, Mukae Ritsuko, as the image character.

"Sakamichi no Apollo" will broadcast on Fuji TV's 'noitaminA' time slot starting April 12th.
