Ueda Takeshi's solo project AA= will be providing the track, "The Klock", as the ending theme for the upcoming film, 'Helter Skelter'.
This will be AA='s first time writing a song for a movie. Director Ninagawa Mika, who is a big fan of AA=, listened to his songs while writing the script. Since the initial stages of production, she was already thinking of working together with him.
Regarding this collaboration, Ueda commented, "Ninagawa-san's fresh visuals and my distorted sounds, it's the best." "The Klock" will be released as AA='s first single on July 11th.
'Helter Skelter' is a live-action adaptation of Okazaki Kyoko's popular manga, and it portrays the rise and fall of a top model named 'Ririko'. It stars Sawajiri Erika, Omori Nao, Terajima Shinobu, Ayano Gou, Mizuhara Kiko, Arai Hirofumi, Terajima Susumu, Aikawa Sho, Kubozuka Yosuke, and Momoi Kaori. It will open in theaters on July 14th.
