It's been revealed that Nogizaka46's Ikoma Rina will be making her "solo debut"! She will be singing the song "Mizutama Moyou", which will be included in the group's second single, 'Oide Shampoo' (May 2nd release).

Former AKB48 member Ono Erena became the first to have a solo song included in the group's single. She sang "FIRST LOVE" for their 12th single, 'Namida Surprise!', which was released 3 years after her debut. Meanwhile in�NMB48, Yamamoto Sayaka's solo song "Jungle Gym" was included in the group's 3rd single, 'Junjou U-19'.

Although it hasn't yet been a year since Nogizaka46's debut, it looks like the young ladies will be challenging their rival group with their very first soloist.

Ikoma revealed, "The moment the solo was decided, I was honestly timid." However, after the recording and PV shoot, she stated, "I have to do my best in order to be acknowledged by our rival, AKB48."

'Oide Shampoo' is set to be released on the same day as AKB48 Sashihara Rino's solo debut single, "Soredemo Sukidayo". It's causing quite a stir among fans as they expect some kind of "showdown" between the groups.
