Princess Princess to hold Christmas live at Tokyo Dome
5-member female band Princess Princess will be holding a 2-day concert at the Tokyo Dome!
As we previously reported, Princess Princess reunited after 16 years in January, to assist with the recovery from the Tohoku Earthquake.
The 2-day concert will be a part of Princess Princess' comeback tour, "PRINCESS PRINCESS TOUR 2012 ~Saikai~". For this tour, the band is scheduled to hold concerts at Sendai Sun Plaza Hall and Nippon Budokan in November. They've received over 200,000 ticket pre-reservation applications, and tickets for all concerts have already sold out.
Princess Princess will hold their 2-day live at Tokyo Dome on December 23rd and 24th. These new dates were added to the tour because the members didn't want anyone to say, "we wanted to see them, but we couldn't". This will also mark the band's first time performing at Tokyo Dome.
The members' commented, "This performance will be our final Christmas present to everyone," and "With the 5 of us and everyone's thoughts, let's make this charity concert at Tokyo Dome a big success."
Additionally, it was revealed that Princess Princess will be releasing a best-of album on June 27th. All songs will be remastered and will be enclosed in a 2-disc set. Princess Princess is currently asking fans for their favorite songs through their official website. The songs with the most votes will be included in the best-of album.
