It's been five years since she's released anything, but singer/songwriter Sasagawa Miwa will be releasing a new mini album this summer through avex, under their Cutting Edge label. Titled, "Orokana Negai", the mini album will be released on June 27th and have six tracks.

The songstress debuted 10 years ago and at the age of 29, she wants to express the feelings of painful, yet beautiful love of women her generation.

Right now Sasagawa is living in Niigata where she has been composing the songs in peacefulness. With Sasagawa's high singing voice, the arrangement for the songs are being done by Yamamoto Ryuuji and Miyakawa Dan, and instrumentals are by�Sano Yasuo, Watanabe Hitoshi, Murata Youichi, and Tokuzawa Seigen, making this one great indie album.
