Shibasaki Kou is the new "ICE QUEEN" for Häagen-Dazs
It's been reported that actress Shibasaki Kou was in Omotesando attending a Kiyokawa Asami and Häagen-Dazs collaboration event called "Bimi Saishu Häagen-Dazs x ASAMI KIYOKAWA". Kiyokawa is the well-known art director of the photo book "Bijo Saishu" in which famous actresses transformed into plants and animals. At the event stood a model of Shibasaki as the global ice cream brand's "ICE QUEEN". The statue shows Shibasaki standing on a dress that is about 4 meters high.
Shibasaki appears in the brand's commercials as well. The image concept was inspired by Marie Antoinette, and has been described as "ICE QUEEN". The photos, dress, and fairies express six flavors, and will be on display until May 6th.
There is also an application in which people can transform themselves into the "ICE QUEEN", and try out Häagen-Dazs' new flavor "Crêpe Glacé Tiramisu", which hit stores on April 23rd. The new flavor will be wrapped in mascarpone ice cream with a coffee sauce and cocoa sponge.
