On April 14th, singer-songwriter Uemura Kana revealed on her official blog that she has set out on a journey to the United States.

In a blog entry titled, "I'm going on a solitary journey to America!!!", Uemura wrote, "It's sudden, but starting now, I will be going to America by myself for training!!!"

Last year, Uemura visited Nashville, Tenessee, where she had the opportunity to interact with local musicians. This event made such an impact on the singer that she's decided to set out to America in order to learn and experience new things. Since this will be a completely private trip, Uemura revealed,�"I can't speak English, so everyone is very worried about me."

The following day, Uemura updated her blog, reporting that she has safely landed in America. She expressed her enthusiasm posting, "I'm excited!!! I will absorb many things I won't be able to experience in Japan."
