On May 6th, 5-member girls unit 9nine held their first hall one-man live at Nippon Seinenkan.

The girls held two performances on this day for a total of about 2,600 fans. They sang 16 songs including their upcoming single, "Ryusei no Kuchizuke".

9nine formed back in 2005 with 9 members. In September of 2010, the group went through a renewal, which resulted with their current membersKawashima Umika, Satake Uki, Nishiwaki Sayaka, Murata Hirona, and Yoshii Kanae. This past January, 9nine released their single, "Shoujo Traveler", which became their first song to rank in the top 10 on Oricon's weekly single charts. Then in March, they placed 8th on Oricon's weekly rankingwith their album, '9nine'.

The concert was titled 'Seinenkan no 9nine', and it was held with the theme of "evolution". The girls also challenged themselves to their first live band performance with Satake on bass, Murata on drums, Yoshii on guitar, Kawashima on piano, and Nishiwaki on keyboard.

After their band performance, Satake commented, "Since this was our first hall one-man live, we did our best since the album was released on this day, and to show everyone 9nine on a bigger scale! I think these past two months were our time of youth! I am thankful for all the love and courage you have given us!"

Additionally, it was announced that 9nine would be holding a live concert on August 19th at Hibiya Outdoors Theater. Nishiwaki expressed, "When I first heard about it, I was insecure. But two months ago, I couldn't imagine myself standing here today, and now we were able to actually welcome this day. I want to move on to our next challenge."
