On May 27th, AKB48�s Takahashi Minami, Shinoda Mariko, and Takajo Aki turned up at Tokyo Racecourse to be derby presenters for this day.

This was the first time for Takahashi to watch a horse race live and she commented on the experience with, �There was a lot of excitement in the atmosphere and I was surprised when I heard the audience,� talking about her amazement to the press.

She added, �I also saw the word �Kubi (Neck)� (can also mean unemployed in Japanese) on the bulletin board and I thought that depending on the race results, they would be unemployed... but actually it was about the margins of the goal huh. Anyways, I found it a great experience to see a Japanese derby live.�
