On May 16th, singer Ieiri Leo held a free live, 'FREE LIVE TOUR 2012', at Lazona Kawasaki to commemorate the release of her 2nd single, "Shine".

In front of 2,500 people, Ieiri sang a total of 4 songs including "Shine" and her debut number "Sabrina". She expressed, "I'm very happy that so many people came out." After the live, she held a press conference where she shared her goal of performing at this year's 'Kohaku Uta Gassen', "I hope to aim for it this year, so I want to push forward like this."

Ieiri moved to Tokyo from Fukuoka at the age of 16, and she started to compare herself to the people around her. "Shine" was created when she regained her confidence after a friend's reminder, "You have music."

The singer called out, "I want people who have lost sight of their individuality and dreams to listen to it." "Shine" is currently being used as the theme song to Amami Yuki's starring drama, 'Kaeru no Oujo-sama'.

Ieiri claimed that she was nervous before the live saying, "In the tent, I sat on the floor while grasping my legs and concentrated for about 3 minutes." However, after her performance, she reflected, "It turned out to be a powerful live."

She also seemed excited to hold free lives in other places in Japan, "After reading the messages I receive, there are times I wonder 'what kind of people write them?', so I'm happy that I get to meet them directly."

Ieiri is scheduled to perform in Aichi, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Hyogo from May 19th to the 27th for her 'FREE LIVE TOUR 2012'.
